Questions before your first gig

A few things
worth knowing.

Straightforward answers about gameplay content, eligibility, rewards and the GameGigs waitlist.

What is GameGigs?

GameGigs connects mobile players and game developers through campaigns built around original gameplay videos and qualifying player activity. Joining the waitlist does not create a creator account or guarantee a campaign.

Do I need followers or previous experience?

You can join the waitlist with a new channel and no content creation experience. Each future campaign will specify its eligibility rules. You must also meet the age and account requirements of the platform where you publish.

Can I create videos without showing my face?

Yes. Your gameplay can be the focus. Captions, short tips, highlights or optional voiceover can explain what viewers are watching. You do not need a face-cam. Use only footage, music and other material you are authorised to use.

Which social platforms can I use?

We ask whether you plan to use TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, or are starting fresh. Each campaign brief will identify its eligible platforms; not every campaign will support all three.

Can I use an iPhone or Android phone?

Both are welcome on the waitlist. We record your phone platform to help match you with compatible games. Availability may also depend on your country and the game’s requirements.

How many videos does a campaign require?

Our example campaign asks for two distinct gameplay videos, each at least 15 seconds long. The campaign brief will set the actual deliverables, publishing platforms and deadlines.

How long must my videos stay online?

Under the proposed creator terms, qualifying videos must stay publicly available for at least 30 consecutive days after publication. Review the final terms and accepted brief before joining a campaign.

What rewards can a qualifying video earn?

Indicative base rewards are $1–$2 per 15-second video. Eligible views may unlock an additional tiered bonus up to $25, with milestones up to one million views. Rates, measurement periods, thresholds and whether the cap applies per video or campaign must be stated in the brief.

Does an app install automatically earn a reward?

No. A referred player must meet the specific game and campaign conditions, which can include actions after installation. Indicative rewards range from $1–$20 per qualifying player.

Are the reward examples guaranteed?

No. Examples illustrate selected assumptions, not typical earnings or guaranteed income. Monthly calculator figures use four weeks. View bonuses are excluded from the calculator because they follow campaign-specific tiers.

How will payouts work?

The draft terms propose a $25 minimum per payout, with eligibility and fraud checks before rewards are released. Payout methods, timing and availability will be confirmed before campaigns launch. We are not processing payouts during the waitlist phase.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

When signup is enabled, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Confirm on the linked page to join the list. We then send a welcome email and, when the onboarding sequence is enabled, a getting-started email after three days. Early access is not guaranteed. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Can a studio or publisher work with GameGigs?

Yes. Mobile game developers and publishers can enquire about a campaign. You define the audience, gameplay brief and qualifying-player goals; GameGigs handles matching suitable players. Publishers do not need to select individual creators. Submitting an enquiry does not start a campaign or commit a budget.
